Dudaev reproaches Palestinian refugees of poor organization

Refugees from Palestine should maintain cleanliness and be more organized, and also not speed Chechen authorities up in solving their problems, Akhmed Dudaev, the Chechen Minister for National Policy, External Relations, Press and Information, has stated.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that the second group of 116 refugees from Palestine had arrived in Chechnya. Like those from the first group, they will be placed in the health camp located in the village of Avtury.

Chechnya has set up a working group that is preparing to receive 250 refugees from Palestine, the Chechen Ministry for Emergencies (MfE) reported on November 21. Dagestani authorities have also reported about their readiness to accept up to 200 refugees from Palestine.

"Many unresolved issues remain regarding the presence of refugees from Palestine in Chechnya," Minister Dudaev has stated, noting that Chechen authorities are ready to resolve refugees' problems, but they should not be pressed up.

He has particularly emphasized the need to maintain cleanliness. "Everything should be cleaned up and maintained clean," Akhmed Dudaev has stressed.

Experts on the Caucasus, Akhmet Yarlykapov and Ruslan Kutaev, stated earlier that the reception of refugees from Palestine was organized in Dagestan and Chechnya on the initiative of Russian federal authorities. Sergey Zhavoronkov, a political analyst, believes that the decision to accept a small number of Palestinians was made by the republics' authorities, since it is beneficial to their image and will not damage the budget.
