“Hamas” releases fiancée of Rostov native on last day of truce

Militants from the “Hamas” movement released a fiancée of Rostov-on-Don native Alexander Trufanov on the last day before the resumption of hostilities, while the man himself remained hostage.

The “Caucasian Knot” has reported that Irina Tatti, a former doctor from Rostov-on-Don, was captured together with her family by “Hamas” militants at the beginning of the escalation of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict. On November 29, 73-year-old Irina Tatti and her 50-year-old daughter Elena Trufanova were released, but Irina Tatti’s 28-year-old grandson Alexander Trufanov and his fiancée Sapir Cohen remained in captivity.

Irina Tatti moved to Israel to her daughter about five years ago. During the “Hamas” attack, the elderly Rostov-on-Don native, her daughter, and grandson were taken hostage, while Vitaly Trufanov, a husband of the Irina Tatti’s daughter, was killed.

According to a family friend, Israeli native Sapir Cohen was released on November 30, the last day of the truce in the Gaza Strip. Alexander Trufanov, a fiancé of Sapir Cohen, is the last member of his family to remain in captivity, the “161.ru” reports.
