Family from Rostov-on-Don held hostage by Hamas
Former doctor from Rostov-on-Don Irina Tatti, along with her family, was captured by Hamas militants at the beginning of the escalation of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict, the head of the city’s Jewish community said. Her daughter appeared in a video filmed by militants.
Rostov resident Irina Tatti, along with her daughter and grandson, was captured by Hamas militants after the escalation of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict, 1rnd reported today, citing the chairman of the Rostov Jewish community, Mikhail Potapov. He said that he learned about this from colleagues in Israel.
Irina Tatti is 73 years old; she previously worked in a Rostov children's clinic, as well as in a tuberculosis clinic. About five years ago, a woman moved to live with her daughter in Israel. They lived in a small town near the Gaza Strip. During the conflict, a woman, her daughter, and grandson were taken hostage, and Irina’s son-in-law was killed, Potapov said.
Irina Tatti lived in Beersheba, a small town located 40 kilometers from the Gaza Strip, Donday reported on November 1, citing a friend of Irina.
