Agitators of "Spravedlivaya Rossiya" attacked in Volgograd Region

Today, in the city of Kamyshin, Volgograd Region, two women who agitated for the presidential candidate Sergey Mironov, the leader of the "Spravedlivaya Rossiya" (Fair Russia) Party, were attacked by unidentified persons. Suspects were arrested and now checked by the police.

The attackers used tear gas and physical force against defenceless women - one of them has cornea burn, the other - the larynx burn, the "Caucasian Knot" was told at the office of "Spravedlivaya Rossiya" in the Volgograd Region.

By a lucky chance, witnesses managed to detain the attackers and hand them over to the police.

After visiting the trauma centre and receiving the first aid, the women testified at the police station, where they identified their attackers.

The victims also claim that they recognized another participant of the attack, which at the police station was talking about something with the deputy head of the UVD (Interior Department) Alexander Kitaev. He failed to specify the topic of his conversation; however, he began defending the attackers. This was reported by the party office, where they noted that they knew about two more similar attacks on agitators.

Party activists suppose that a whole team is acting in the city committing unlawful acts against supporters of the opposition.

The Kamyshin police have confirmed the attack on the party agitators.

However, they denied that the today's attack on the agitators of "Spravedlivaya Rossiya" was not the first in the city, noting that it was a "unique case".
