Armenia: suspects of attempt on Kiviryan arrested
In Armenia, Judge Gayane Karakhanyan has satisfied the petition lodged by the National Security Service (NSS) on arresting Vladik Serobyan and Gurgen Kilikyan, who had attempted to kill Argishti Kiviryan, coordinator of the Internet based edition "Armenia Today".
It was reported earlier that the NSS had arrested two persons accused of an attempt to murder Argishti Kiviryan. As of today, the NSS has given no details about the attackers. Sona Truzyan, press secretary of the State Office of Public Prosecutor, has informed the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent that the investigation is now underway; and additional information will be provided by the investigatory body as possible.
