Administrative case against "Voice of Beslan" is still open

Yesterday, on March 28, the Pravoberezhny Court of North Ossetia held hearing on accusation of Ella Kesaeva, leader of the All-Russian Public Organization "Voice of Beslan", of beating a judge and court marshals. Ms Kesaeva asked the court to nullify the protocol on the offence and close the case, but the court rejected her petition.

"I also asked the court to stop the case on about administrative offence by Bzarova and Margieva, but I was rejected too. Moreover, the cases of each of us were delivered into separate proceedings," Ella Kesaeva told to the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.

According to Ms Kesaeva, the protocol on administrative offence was drawn up with violations.

"I was not instructed about my rights. Then, they told me that I had refused to sign the protocol and write an explanatory note. It's all a lie. I had no chance even to get acquainted with the protocol," she continued.

With this argument in mind, Ella Kesaeva asked the court to nullify the protocol, but the latter would not agree.

Judge Zaurbek Tavitov, who is the claimant in this case, failed to appear at the trial. The court marshals were interrogated as witnesses, and they completely denied the fact of beating them.
