A citizen of Armenia killed in Moscow
Another citizen of Armenia was murdered in Moscow. The body of Ashot Tigranyan, 30, was found on Thursday, May 24, in the doorway of house No. 15 in Rudakov Street, the "Gazeta.Ru" reports with a reference to the City Interior Administration (GOVD) of Moscow.
According to medical examination, the citizen of Armenia died from numerous knife wounds. On the fact of his death, a criminal case has been initiated under Article 105 (murder).
Militiamen do not exclude that the crime was nationalist motivated, the report remarks.
The "Caucasian Knot" has informed earlier that a little more than a month ago, on April 16, in Moscow, a group of skinheads attacked Karen Abramyan, 46, a native of Armenia, who died on the following day from knife wounds at a Moscow hospital. According to Mr. Abramyan, the cause of the attack was his nationality: the attackers, while giving wounds to him, were crying out nationalistic slogans.
Shortly before that, another attack incident against an Armenian native took place in Moscow. On February 21, Armen Arutyunyan, 38, a citizen of Armenia, was killed there. The sources in law enforcement bodies of Moscow reported that the casualty's body had 22 knife wounds.
