Efforts aimed to help under age people suffered in armed conflicts are being coordinated in Stavropol
The Stavropol region's Center for Social Aid to the Family and Children conducted a round-table discussion devoted to the beginning of the project "Gorizonty" ("Horizonts"). This project is aimed to render social aid to under age people suffered in armed conflicts.
The Stavropol region's Center became one of the seven regional centers of the Russian Federation which were entrusted to develop socially important programs. After the program has been approved in the region, it will be sent for fulfillment to other regions of the country.
The meeting participants shared with their experience on working with children and teenagers of families of forced migrants and children who witnessed the hostage capture in the town of Budyonovsk. They discussed technologies of interaction between different organizations, formed work teams for participating in the project.
