Documents on Kondopoga disorders recognized falsified

The Supreme Court of Karelia, where the trial on criminal case on Kondopoga disorders continues, has announced the results of the handwriting examination, which have confirmed the fact of falsification of some procedural documents.

The press service of the Supreme Court has reported that the examination showed that the signatures of the lady-translator who had translated the case materials into the Chechen language, were not made by her.

It follows from the conclusion of the examination, which was announced today by Judge Alexander Zaitsev, "the signatures made on the decisions on attraction as defendants of January 21, 2007, do not belong to Dakaeva, Aminat Makhmudovna, but where affixed by some other person after some preliminary exercising. Also, the signature on the decision to appoint her as translator does not belong to her."

Earlier Ms Dakaeva was summoned to the Court and stated that the signatures under the documents had been made by some other person.

Andrei Vorobyov, Supreme Court's spokesman said that the Court was going to find out the origin of falsified signatures by interrogating the head of the translation bureau from Rostov-on-Don, through which the contract with Aminat Dakaeva was concluded. Only after that, the Court will consider the advocates' petition on return of the case to the Prosecutor's Office, the RIA "Novosti" reports.
