Service of court marshals denies beating resident of Krasnodar Territory who tried to self-burn

The Department of the Federal Service of Court Marshals for the Krasnodar Territory refutes the information about beating Anatoly Malyshev who tried to burn himself in protest against his family's compulsory eviction from the hostel.

After conducting a check, the Territorial FSCM Department for the Krasnodar Territory has stated that part of the information narrated by Khanikeryan and Bondarenko is considered doubtful.

"The raised hand in which Anatoly Malyshev held a lighter, was clamped by the court marshal in charge of ensuring the court operation with the aim to prevent using the lighter. Then, Anatoly Malyshev was put with his back on the table, which was in the corridor, and the lighter was taken away from him," the spokeswoman of the division for PR and media of the Territorial FSCM Department for the Krasnodar Territory has explained.

"Then, since the debtor continued to render resistance, in conformity with Article 17 of the Federal Law 'On Court Marshals' ('Use of special means'), he was handcuffed and brought to Room No. 171, where he was put on a sofa," the FSCM representative said.

Soon Malyshev felt bad, and, as she asserts, the handcuffs were taken off. "The court marshals called up the ambulance."

Besides, the "Caucasian Knot" quoted evidences of the eyewitnesses, according to which the court marshals were in masks. This information was also treated as incorrect by the FSCM Department, since "court marshals do not use masks."
