In capital of Armenia, women demand from TV to make truthful coverage of events

Currently, a break has been announced at the mass rally of the united opposition that is taking place in the capital of Armenia; according to some sources, about 70,000 persons take part in it.

Part of the participants of the meeting, mainly women, are taking part in the march. At the moment, several thousands of them are at the building of the State Committee for Television and Radio located at No. 5 Alek Manukyan Street.

The participants of the march demand that "Ailur", the main information program of the Public TV of Armenia, provide truthful coverage of events. The march is accompanied by outcries "Liars! Shame!" addressed to the "Ailur" program.

Let us note here that the sit-down strike continues in the Freedom Square in the centre of Yerevan. The tent camp set up two days ago and comprising initially 20 tents has now doubled and at the moment over 40 tents are installed in the Freedom Square, in which over 100 persons are accommodated. Special heaters and mobile kitchens were brought to the Square.
