Mother of disappeared Ossetian athlete Tsomartova asks Putin for assistance in finding her daughter

Diana Tsomartova, a mother of Anna Tsomartova, an athlete from North Ossetia who disappeared in Kaspiysk, recorded a video message to the Russian President asking him for assistance in finding her daughter.

The “Caucasian Knot” has reported that on February 24, a father of Anna Tsomartova posted a petition on the website “Change.org”, in which the man asked Vladimir Putin to assist in the search for his daughter. Anna Tsomartova was last seen on the territory of the FSB sanatorium in Kaspiysk, after which she disappeared, the athlete’s father noted. On March 24, the FSB denied any involvement in the disappearance of Anna Tsomartova.

The search for Anna Tsomartova has been ongoing since February 12. Her mother explained that the daughter disappeared after she was defeated in a tournament and was depressed. Investigators have instituted a murder case, and a kidnapping version is also being considered.

“I beg you to take control over the situation, as there have been no results during two months,” Diana Tsomartova said in her video message to the Russian President posted on Anna Tsomartova’s Telegram channel.
