Blogger from Bataysk fined for statements against SMO fighters

The court in Bataysk has treated the statements posted in a social network by Nelly Shtefan about the participants in the special military operation (SMO) in Ukraine as discrediting the Russian Army and fined her by 30,000 roubles. The girl has apologized, linking her statements to medical drug effects, but then said that she had recorded the apology under pressure.

The "Kommersant" has reported, citing the joint press service of the courts of the Rostov Region, that on March 21, Nelly insulted the SMO fighters in the "Friend Around" social network.

Later, she explained her statements by the effect of the medications she constantly takes for medical reasons. "I'm a good person myself, I was just overwhelmed, and I just said it," she has explained.

Then, the blogger said that she had recorded the apology video under pressure and did not know that it would be posted online. "It's cruel. My father forced me," the "1rnd" outlet has quoted Nelly as saying.
