Resident of Chechnya publicly reprimanded for reposting fake about death of Kadyrov people

Akhmed Dudaev, the Minister of Press and Information of Chechnya, has publicly reprimanded a local resident named Aslan for reposting unreliable information about the mass deaths of soldiers of the "Sever-Akhmat" regiment near Artyomovsk. Aslan announced his readiness to apologize on television.

A video in which Dudaev reprimands Aslan for reposting a message about the mass deaths of soldiers from the "Sever-Akhmat" regiment in the battles near Artyomovsk (the Ukrainian name of the town is Bakhmut, – note of the "Caucasian Knot") was posted in Dudaev's Telegram channel.

"I've met distributors of fake information about the death of a Chechen battalion in Ukraine during the special military operation (SMO). I had an explanatory conversation with them. I stressed that their irresponsible attitude to their words had caused unrest in the society. This fake information was picked up by provocateurs and Chechnya's enemies," Dudaev has explained.

Aslan himself has admitted that it is wrong to distribute unconfirmed information, the "Kavkaz.Realii"* project has reported.

The "Caucasian Knot" has also reported that on July 27, the head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, said that since the start of the SMO, more than 28,000 fighters, including more than 13,000 volunteers, had been sent from Chechnya to Ukraine.
