Kadyrov's son orders to search for violators of Chechen traditions in social networks

By the order of the son of the head of Chechnya, the servants of republic's the Ministry for Youth Matters are instructed to look for the social network users, whose actions are against the Chechens' culture and mentality in order to properly educate them.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that in November 2023, Akhmat, the 18-year-old son of Ramzan Kadyrov, was appointed deputy minister for physical culture, sports and youth policy of the republic. On February 17, 2024, it became known that he had been appointed Minister for Youth Matters of Chechnya.

The work for Kadyrov's son will be done by his deputies and assistants; and in Chechen realities. it would be surprising if he did not receive a high post, Ruslan Kutaev, an expert on the Caucasus, has emphasized.

Minister Akhmat Kadyrov has instructed his staff to identify social network users in Chechnya "whose actions contradict Chechen culture and mentality," the "Grozny-Inform" News Agency has reported.

"The ministry staff will monitor popular platforms such as Bigo Live and Likee for users' inappropriate behaviour. They will conduct educational work with all violators," says the agency.
