In Nalchik, mobilized man repeatedly convicted for evading military service

The Nalchik Garrison Military Court sentenced a mobilized local resident to eight years of imprisonment for evading military service. Earlier, the man has been sentenced to a probation under the same article.

According to the case materials, without good reason, Martynov did not report for duty on June 15, 2023, during the period of mobilization, and until October 1, the man spent his time at his own discretion. Then he himself appeared at the military police department in North Ossetia. During the trial, Martynov admitted his guilt, the court reported on its page on the “VKontakte” social network.

The court noted that earlier, Martynov had been sentenced to seven years of probation for evading military service.

The “Caucasian Knot” has reported that on January 19, in Nalchik, a court sentenced Asker Tokbaev, a military man from the Zolsky District, to a year of imprisonment, also finding him guilty of leaving his military unit without permission.
