Two Ingush policemen accused of falsifying drug case

In Magas, two policemen have been charged with falsifying a criminal case for drug possession against a local resident.

The “Caucasian Knot” has reported that the Investigating Department for Ingushetia of the Investigating Committee of the Russian Federation (ICRF) announced that in Magas, the court arrested policemen detained on suspicion of illegally purchasing drugs and falsifying a criminal case against a resident of Ingushetia.

According to the investigators’ version, the policemen illegally purchased and stored the drug, and on June 27, they planted it in the interior of a local resident’s car “against his will.”

Then the defendants drew up a report on the inspection of the crime scene, in which they included deliberately false information about the discovery of the drug in the car. On July 3, the criminal case was illegally instituted against the local resident who was not involved in the incident.

Part of the appropriate article of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation provides for from three to 10 years of imprisonment.
