Incident of whipping a cadet in Stavropol attracted law enforcers' attention
The Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) and the Prosecutor's Office, as well as the authorities of Stavropol, have launched a check after the complaint of the parents of a pupil of a local cadet school that their son had been beaten with a whip at that educational establishment.
His father wrote about the teen's beating in the "VKontakte" social network; he has also posted a photo showing a blow trace on his son's body. According to the father, corporal punishments are allowed at the cadet school; like other parents, he knew about it, but "he thought that this could happen only as a last resort," the "Kavkaz.Realii"* project has reported.
The father of the whipped boy has added that some of pupils' parents support the corporal punishments of cadets.
The Stavropol Mayoralty has treated the incident as unacceptable and promised that the perpetrators would be punished, the "Portal of Northern Caucasus" outlet has reported.
Let us remind you that in early 2022, the beating of pupils of the Cossack Cadet Corps in Budyonnovsk caused a resonance. On March 10, 2022, a cadet's mother complained about her son's persecution after her complaint against the leadership of the educational establishment.
