Police disperses a youth protest action in Azerbaijan

On July 22, in the central mini-park of the capital of Azerbaijan, in the Fountains Square, the police severely dispersed the participants of the protest action held by the "Dalga" Youth Organization. The police behaved rudely even with the girls-participants of the action, the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent reports.

Four participants were not only beaten, but also detained. After two hours of detention, they were released.

We note here that the action of the youth organization under the motto "Let us support the free press!" assumed mass reading of newspapers and was of peaceful character. The aim of the action was to draw attention of the country's public to the necessity of supporting the free press.
