Lawyers treat persecution of schoolgirl and her mother in Izberbash as unjustified

The pacifist slogan voiced out by a graduate of an Izberbash school at the "Last Bell" ceremony does not fall under the article on discrediting Russian militaries, the lawyers interviewed by the "Caucasian Knot" believe.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on May 23, a video was circulated in social networks, in which, during the "Last Bell" ceremony, a school graduate in the city of Izberbash publicly spoke out against the special operation in Ukraine. Later, the graduate and her mother apologized, and administrative protocols were drawn up against them.

Judging from the video record of the schoolgirl's statement, there is no administrative offense in her words, Marat Ismailov, a lawyer, believes, adding that to make a more thorough legal conclusion, it's necessary to study the materials of administrative proceedings.

He has also stated that he sees no administrative offense in the mother's actions.

Another Dagestani lawyer, who preferred to remain anonymous, has also stated that the graduate's pacifist statement had not violated the article about discrediting Russian militaries.

As for the protocol drawn up against the schoolgirl's mother under the article on the parents' failure to fulfil their duties to rear the child, the lawyer has treated it as "absurd."
