Social media users treat election won by Kadyrov's son as unfair

Adam Kadyrov, a son of the leader of Chechnya, has become the president of the school self-administration as a result of a procedure that had little in common with the real election, note users of Instagram and VKontakte.

The "Grozny" ChGTRK (Chechen State TV and Radio Company) dedicated a separate report to the election of Adam Kadyrov as the president of the school self-administration.

Instagram users have expressed their doubts about the fair elections. "As always, he got the majority of votes. Who would dare to elect another person?" wrote user _cars_from_exim_. "Who would doubt that? Everything is as always," concluded user khalidshumi.

Similar comments, along with congratulations to Adam Kadyrov, were left by VKontakte users on the page of the leader of Chechnya. "Were there any other options?" wrote user Sergey Piter, who accompanied his comment with a smile.

The opposition 1Adat Telegram Channel also called the news about the Adam Kadyrov's victory ridiculous. "We don't know which is funnier: the fact that Adam Kadyrov, a son of Ramzan Kadyrov and a grandson of Akhmat Kadyrov, was elected the president at the Akhmat Kadyrov Education Centre, or the fact that this 'very important' news is released not only by the republic's TV Channel, but also by the official website of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) for the Chechen Republic," the 1Adat Telegram Channel wrote on February 17.
