ECtHR awards compensation to Chechen resident under complaint about torture

The European Court of Human Rights (ECtHR) has recognized a complaint filed by Roman Gastemirov, a resident of Chechnya, about torture by the police in 2005 as justified and awarded him 50,000 euros in compensation.
