Armenian authorities promise to build new houses in Shurnukh after demarcation

The twelve families evicted from their houses located in the eastern part of the village of Shurnukh on the demand of Azerbaijan will receive new houses, the Armenian government has assured.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on January 4, residents of 12 houses in the village of Shurnukh, Syunik Region of Armenia, were evicted at the demand of Azerbaijani militaries. These houses are located to the east of the Goris-Kapan highway, which Azerbaijan treats as a border highway.

At least 12 new houses will be built in the village of Shurnukh in the Syunik Region of Armenia, which will be handed over to the families who had lost their houses, the Armenian government has assured. It is supposed to build a new district with the entire necessary infrastructure. For this purpose, they are searching for a safe and convenient place; the problems of electricity and water supplies are being solved, the "News-Armenia" has reported today.
