Nagorno-Karabakh names 34 more perished soldiers

The Ministry of Defence (MoD) of Nagorno-Karabakh has added 34 names to the list of soldiers, who perished during the conflict escalation, bring the total number thereof up to 1746.

Out of these 34, 16 are soldiers born in 1998-2002; and 14 were reservists born in 1978-1998. Four others were volunteers from 22 to 60 years old.

Earlier, on November 19, Arsen Torosyan, the Armenian Minister of Public Health, reported about 2425 soldiers of the Defence Army who perished in the autumn battles. Soldiers continue dying after the end of full-scale hostilities. Thus, on December 1, two Karabakh soldiers perished during demining.

The bodies of 655 Armenian soldiers were found in battlefields; they were handed over to their relatives, the Emergency Situations Service of Nagorno-Karabakh has reported. By November 27, the Vanadzor Office of the Helsinki Civil Assembly had compiled a list of 586 missing military servicemen. The data of relatives, and the videos posted on the Internet, evidence about 60 soldiers who are in Azerbaijani captivity, Artak Beglaryan, the Ombudsperson of Nagorno-Karabakh, has reported.
