Detentions

On November 5, law enforcers detained residents of Gudermes and took them away from their homes to some unknown places. In total, more than ten young people were detained; the names of 13 of them were found out. All the detainees are in the premises of some power structure in Grozny. Their relatives did not file any complaints and refuse to communicate with human rights defenders.

On November 11, in the village of Plievo in the Nazran District of Ingushetia, a search was conducted in the house of the former Imam of Karabulak, Magomed-Sali Daurbekov. His brother, Magomed Daurbekov, said that law enforcers failed to introduce themselves and did not show any search warrant. As a result, according to law enforcers, several cartridges were found in the boiler room of the house. After that, Magomed-Sali Daurbekov was taken away without telling his relatives where to.
