Instagram users treat killing of militants in Grozny as staged

A special operation in Grozny with the killing of four suspected militants had been staged to receive new generous subsidies from the federal authorities, Instagram users suggested.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on October 13, during the counterterrorist operation (CTO) held in the Oktyabrsky District of Grozny, four suspected militants, two fighters of the National Guard of Russia, and one policeman were killed. According to the law enforcement bodies' information, voiced by the leader of Chechnya, the suspected militants arrived from abroad and were plotting a series of terror acts in Chechnya.

Users of the Instagram public account "сhechnya_life" expressed their doubts concerning the official version of the law enforcement bodies about the progress of the special operation. So, user hello_caucas considered the killing of the suspected militants to be staged. "They tortured them to death, then brought the dead bodies to the place, and put submachine guns on them. And here is the result for you," user hello_caucas suggested. Such dramatic performances are being staged in order to get generous financial subsidies from the federal centre, user kataleya4000 believes.

"I can hardly believe that. We know how the action films are being shot," user viktor.gigo agreed with comments of other users.

User salamdaqestan expresses his astonishment by the fact that "all so-called militants are eliminated at once, no matter, in Chechnya or in Dagestan." "Why are they not taken prisoners? What about information, customers of crimes, etc.? Or they are not militants, and there is no interest for law enforcers to take them prisoners?" user salamdaqestan asked.
