Gathering of Zakaev's relatives announced amid Kadyrov's critical speech

Relatives of Akhmed Zakaev, who lives in the United Kingdom and who declared himself the moderator of the 1ADAT Telegram Channel, have decided to publicly condemn him after Ramzan Kadyrov had joined the criticism of Zakaev. Instagram users have suggested that Zakaev's relatives were forced to speak out against him.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on September 10, Akhmed Zakaev, the head of the government of the self-proclaimed Ichkeria (banned in Russia by the court), said that two of his brothers, two sisters and nephews were detained in Chechnya. Zakaev has linked the incident with his statements in support of the 1ADAT Telegram Channel. On the same day, this channel reported that all Zakaev's relatives were gathered in Chechnya. "Apparently, they will film a fake video report, in which Zakaev's relatives will 'disown' him," says the channel's post.

"After Zakaev's recent provocative statements, his family clan decided to publicly condemn Akhmed Zakaev, who had taken responsibility for a group of swearing people who offend the Chechen people," says the Instagram-public "eldit_net".
