50 people turn to doctors for help after Kuban flooding

13 out of 50 injured persons during flooding in Kuban (Krasnodar Territory) were hospitalized, the Territorial Ministry of Public Health has stated today.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on October 25, the emergency services of the region reported two dead and three injured persons after heavy rains in Kuban; the fate of one person remained unknown. Today, the services have claimed that the number of victims in the Tuapse and Apsheron Districts increased to seven: six people perished and one more was injured. One woman is still missing.

As a result of the flooding in the Krasnodar Territory, 50 people sought medical help, including 11 children. 13 people were hospitalized, the Ministry of Public Health of the Krasnodar Territory has reported, without specifying the condition of the victims.

"The operational headquarters of the Ministry of Health and Disaster Medicine continues working in the flooding area in Kuban. Besides, municipal operative headquarters have been deployed in Apsheronsk, Tuapse and Sochi aimed at eliminating the medical-sanitary consequences of the emergency situation; telephone hotlines services are organized at them," says the message of the ministry.
