Police colonel forced to leave

Three armed unidentified people in masks broke into the private house of Colonel Magomed Amirkhanov, Deputy Chief of the Department on Tax Crimes at Dagestan's Internal Affairs Ministry, in Makhachkala on the night of Monday. The attackers tied up and cruelly beat the police officer.

The criminals demanded that the colonel should resign within a week's period. Otherwise, they threatened physical violence, says ITAR-TASS.

They gathered all money and valuables in the house, put them into a bag and left it near the tied-up colonel. In doing so, they said, "We have not come to rob you, but to warn that you should leave your office."
