Adygeia hit with oil spill

An oil spill with a channel of 1.5 km and volume of about 100 tonnes occurred in Adygeia's Takhtamukai district. Part of the oil got in the Chibiiskii irrigation canal. The spill occurred as a result of an illicit branch cut into an oil pipeline, the press service for the republican Civil Defence and Emergencies Ministry told Regnum news agency.
