France refuses to receive political refugees from Georgia

Georgian Foreign Minister Salome Zurabishvili finds it positive that France has refused to receive political refugees from Georgia, says the Novosti-Georgia news agency.

"It is a positive assessment of political developments in Georgia," Ms Zurabishvili said to journalists. According to her, the decision was made after Georgia had been removed from the list of countries whose policy was dangerous from the point of view of human rights. France sees no reasons to grant refugees from Georgia political asylum in the country, she added.
