Relatives publicly condemn Chechen woman for video appeal to Kadyrov

The video appeals to the head of Chechnya and his mother were recorded by Aishat Guchigova, who lives in France, her relatives have reported, stating that they are ashamed of her words; and one of her relatives wished her death for criticizing Kadyrov.

On January 5 and 6, Aishat Guchigova posted her video appeals to Ramzan Kadyrov and his mother Aimani Kadyrova on the Channel ANTI KADYROV on the YouTube. She demanded to stop kidnappings and persecutions in Chechnya.

Aishat Guchigova, 37, who made the above appeals, "has nothing to do with Chechnya and the Chechen people," said Lechi Gaisultanov, one of her relatives. "She lived in Ingushetia, got married there and left. It would be better to die in Ingushetia," the man said in the report shown by the "Grozny" Chechen State TV and Radio Channel.

After her divorce, Guchigova went to Germany, where she was deprived of her children, and then moved to France, said Khaby Saieva, her aunt, adding that Guchigova "is treated in a mental hospital."

Guchigova's relatives suggest that someone uses her for one's own purposes.

Chechen authorities are extremely painfully reacting to any criticism; and not only the authors of the appeals, but also their relatives are made responsible for criticism, said the activists interviewed by the "Caucasian Knot". They believe that Guchigova's relatives were forced to condemn her.
