For the period from December 24 to January 10, in Chechnya, units of the National Guard of Russia introduced an enhanced regime of service, a Chechen MIA's official reported.

"The information has been received stating that several terrorists, members of the IS (a terrorist organization banned in Russia, note of the 'Caucasian Knot') can make an attempt to enter the republic to commit terror acts. The terrorists have already entered a neighbouring state, where they arrived from Central Asia," explained the MIA's officer.
