A 100-kilogram aerial bomb defused in Grozny
In the capital of Chechnya, experts have defused an unexploded bomb, which had been lying underground for more than 20 years, the Ministry for Emergencies (MfE) reported.
On December 11, a 100-kilogram aerial bomb was found on the outskirts of Grozny.
According to the Russian MfE for Chechnya, "the bomb was allegedly dropped on Grozny during the first military campaign in the mid-1990s."
Earlier, the "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on October 12, at military training ground in Chechnya, combat engineers blew up an aerial bomb of the first Chechen war, found on the outskirts of Bamut.
