Boxer Misha Aloyan is WBA world champion

A Russian boxer Misha Aloyan, a native of Armenia, has won the world champion title of the WBA International in bantamweight.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that Aloyan won a silver medal at 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro. In December 2016, he was accused of using doping and deprived of his medal by the decision of the Sports Arbitration Court in Lausanne.

On December 9, in the Russian city of Kemerovo, Aloyan had a fight with Hermohenes Castillo from Nicaragua, the R-Sport reports. This victory was the third one for Aloyan in his three fights in the professional ring; while for Castillo, it was the first defeat in his career after 12 victories, the "Sputnik-Armenia" reports.
