Names of Iraqi prisoners from Southern Russia published

Thirteen women from the North-Caucasian and the Southern Federal Districts (NCFD and SFD) are imprisoned in Baghdad with their children, according to a list posted today by the RIA "Novosti".

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that over the past three months, about 100 children and women were brought from Iraq and Syria to Chechnya by air. On November 30, the Chechen authorities announced the discovery in Iraq of 104 Russian citizens, including women and children from Chechnya, Dagestan and the Volgograd Region.

Today, a list of Russian women with children, found by representatives of Chechen authorities in the camp of Iraqi Mosul and placed into the women's prison in Baghdad, was promulgated by the RIA (News Agency) "Novosti".

The RIA stresses that the list was handed over to them by Kheda Saratova, a member of the Council for the Development of Civil Society and Human Rights under the head of Chechnya.

The list contains both natives of Northern Caucasus – Chechnya and Dagestan – and of the Volgograd Region. All the women have two, three or even four children. The youngest child is just one month old.
