Sochi woman convicted for treason is back at large
Inga Tutisani, who spent four years and a month for her SMS message sent to Georgia in August 2008 about the transportation of Russian troops, has returned home.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on November 16, her prison term was reduced from six years to four years and a month.
Ms Tutisani served her sentence in the Vologda Women's Correctional Colony No. 1, says the website of "Team 29", which fought for her release.
Let us remind you that on May 19 this year, the Human Rights Centre (HRC) "Memorial" recognized the residents of Sochi Inga Tutisani, Marina Djandjgava and Annik (Aniko) Kesyan, convicted for treason, to be political prisoners. The sentences handed down to them should be abolished, rights defenders have stated. In their opinion, the information about transportation of military equipment is not a state secret.
