Saakashvili announces kidnapping four Georgian citizens in Kiev

A journalist of the "Rustavi-2" TV Channel, a former Mikhail Saakashvili's security and two other Georgian citizens have been kidnapped in Ukraine; deportation of them is being prepared now, Mr Saakashvili, the third president of Georgia, has stated.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on July 26 this year, Saakashvili was deprived of Ukrainian citizenship, but on September 10 he managed to return to the country, having broken through the border with Poland. Only on November 7, the migration service of Ukraine issued a certificate that he is legally staying in Ukraine, the former president of Georgia has added.

Today, Tamaz Shavshishvili, a journalist of the "Rustavi-2", was kidnapped from his home in Kiev, Mr Saakashvili wrote on the Facebook. "He was handcuffed; they put a bag on his head and took him to some unknown destination," the politician has added.

According to Saakashvili, also Zurab Tsintsadze, his former bodyguard, and two other Georgian citizens, one of whom is Vano Nadiradze, have been kidnapped.

Pavel Bogomazov, an advocate, said that he was not let into the Kiev Airport zone, where Shavshishvili could be kept, the Ukrainian edition "Gordon" reports.
