"Georgian March" in Tbilisi ended with detention of four activists
About 50 people took part in the "Georgian March" held near the building of the "Rustavi-2" TV Company in Tbilisi.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that the previous "Georgian March" ("March of Georgians") took place on October 31 near the building of the Football Federation in Tbilisi. Its participants demanded to exclude the football player, who had supported the LGBT community, from the national team.
In the evening on November 4, the participants of the "Georgian March" held near the "Rustavi-2" building protested against the author's programme "Other Accents" by Eka Kvesitadze, dedicated to the previous "Georgian March", held against its critics and against those who support the LGBT community, the "Georgia-Online" reports.
The marchers refused to obey the police, burned down flares and exploded firecrackers. Four activists were detained on charges of organizing unrests, the "News-Georgia" reports.
