A film from China wins Grand Prix of "Golden Tower" Festival
The film "Brave Warriors" by Chinese film director Ning Heijiang has won the International Film Festival "Golden Tower" held in Ingushetia.
On October 25-28, the film screenings took place in the villages of Nesterovskoe and the cities of Magas and Nazran.
Among others, the contest listed the animated film "The Legend of Brave Kurko", for the first time shot on the basis of an ancient Ingush legend. It won a special prize from the Festival Organizing Committee, the TASS reports.
The only international film festival in Northern Caucasus was held in Ingushetia for the fourth time. Meanwhile, according to the authorities of the region, "the number of participants from Ingushetia is increasing every year."
Members of the jury watched more than 50 documentary and feature films presented by filmmakers from 12 countries of the world, including Russia, Abkhazia, Armenia, Hungary, Germany, Kazakhstan, China, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Thailand, Turkey, and France, reports the website of the Ingush Ministry of Culture.
The winners were awarded statuettes of the Ingush tower, manufactured at the "Zlatoust" Arms Factory, the "Interfax" reports.
