Journalists criticize calls for boycotting Halloween in Dagestan
The topic of boycotting Halloween is artificially inflated, the journalists, interviewed by the "Caucasian Knot", believe.
A message that a flashmob had been launched in social networks criticizing the Halloween celebration was received by the SMS-service of the "Caucasian Knot" on October 23. "They have launched a flashmob in social networks with criticism of the party 'Satan's Ball', which was announced by one of Makhachkala clubs at night on October 28, the Halloween," the author of the message wrote.
The calls for boycotting the Halloween are another "five minutes of hatred", said Svetlana Anokhina, the editor-in-chief of the "Daptar" website.
"The object for indignation is a holiday that is latently and clearly not approved 'from above'... Thus, this indignation is a 'permitted' one, and even inspired; and, therefore, a penny is its cost," Ms Anokhina told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.
According to her story, no one is seriously taking the main argument for boycotting the Halloween, namely, the negative impact on young immature minds.
"Any thinking person is able to understand that the corrupting effect on young people is caused not by the Halloween masquerading, which happens once a year, but by the widespread lawlessness, suppression of rights, bribes, lies, and election imitation..., as well as stupid bans on lacy panties, or of eating parsley (allegedly containing narcotic drugs)," Ms Anokhina said.
She believes that such enemy-searching conducted in Russia at the state level, is most perverting.
