Azerbaijan starts building road to village with 6000 residents
The amount of almost five million manats (about 3 million US dollars) has been allocated for the construction of a road to connect the city of Sheki with the village of Kish. The road will connect the district centre with the village with a little more than 6000 residents.
Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliev has signed a resolution to allocate 4.8 million manats (2.8 million US dollars) for the construction of the road from Sheki to Kish.
The money is allocated from the funds provided for the construction and reconstruction of motorways. The new road will connect the district centre of Sheki with the village of Kish, which accommodates more than 6000 people, the "Sputnik-Azerbaijan" reports.
