CNN presenter put on Azerbaijani "black list"
Anthony Burden, a chef, who is running his show at the American CNN TV Channel, has been put on the undesirable persons' list for visiting Nagorno-Karabakh, Khikmet Gadjiev, the spokesman of the Azerbaijani Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA), has stated today.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on September 22 it became known that three US congressmen, who had visited Nagorno-Karabakh without the knowledge of Azerbaijani authorities, were also put on the "black list".
The list of undesirable persons was first made public by the Azerbaijani MFA in 2013. It includes the foreigners, who are prohibited from entering the country because of their visiting Nagorno-Karabakh without agreement with Azerbaijani authorities.
"Anthony Burden, an American chef and a CNN presenter, will be added to the list of undesirable persons for illegally visiting the occupied territory of Azerbaijan," the above Khikmet Gadjiev has stated today as quoted by the RIA "Novosti".
Earlier, on his page in a social network, Anthony Burden posted photos, confirming that in October he visited Armenia, from where he flew by a helicopter to Nagorno-Karabakh to make a film for his TV programme "Anthony Burden: Unknown Places", the "Sputnik-Azerbaijan" reports.
