Georgian film wins a prize at international festival in Belgrade
The documentary film "Listen to the Silence" by Georgian film director Mariam Chachiya has won the prize for the best script at the International Film Festival for People with Disabilities.
The BOSIFEST-2017 Festival, dedicated to documentary films about people with disabilities, as well as film directed by such people, was held in Belgrade.
The film "Listen to the Silence" describes a story of Luka, a nine-year-old boy from a school for children with hearing impairment. He dreams of dancing on stage, and, despite the fact that he hears music very bad, he continues to develop his abilities and go to his goal, the "Sputnik-Georgia" reports.
Earlier, the film "House of Others" created by Georgian film director Rusudan Glurdjidze has been awarded two prizes at the Festival Igranog Filma u Puli in Croatia.
