Magomedov brothers released from police in Makhachkala

Murad Magomedov and Ramazan Magomedov, who were detained in Makhachkala after they had reported discovery of a bomb, were released from the police station.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that Murad Magomedov and Ramazan Magomedov were detained by law enforcers after they reported they found a bomb in the area of the former barrel factory in Makhachkala. According to Shuai Magomedov, the father of one of the young men, they were tortured after the detention. An advocate was refused in visiting the Magomedov brothers.

The Magomedov brothers were released at 11:55 p.m. on October 9, after they had served their administrative arrests. According to their relatives, Murad and Ramazan feel normal.

The "Caucasian Knot" correspondent has been explained by Israfil Gadadov, an advocate of the Magomedov brothers, that the law enforcement agencies have no claims against the Magomedov brothers concerning the improvised explosive device (IED).

"On October 8, I visited the IVS (temporary detention facility) of Makhachkala, where Murad and Ramazan Magomedov were being kept... Law enforcers told me that they had no more questions to my clients in the case of the IEDs they had found and that my clients were not involved in the case in any way," stated Israfil Gadadov.

The Prosecutor's Office has not yet responded to the complaint filed by the advocate of the Magomedov brothers in connection with his non-admission to his clients.
