Caucasians detained near Moscow for preparing terror acts
Members of the terrorist organization "Islamic State" (IS), banned in Russia, who planned to commit transport terror acts in September, have been detained near Moscow, the Russian FSB (Federal Security Bureau) reports. There are natives of Northern Caucasus among the detainees.
Power agents have found out that the IS unit with the above natives was commanded by foreign emissaries.
Power agents have detained all the unit members and confiscated high-power improvised explosive devices (IEDs), two pistols, grenades, communication equipment and components for making IEDs. The detainees themselves told that they had planned to blow up bombs stuffed with nails in the crowd, the RIA “Novosti” reports referring to the information of the FSB’s Public Relations Centre (PRC).
The special operation was conducted on September 30, the TASS adds citing the PRC.
