In Volgograd, Navalny's supporters demand authorities' changeability

To defeat corruption and improve living standards, the authorities must be changeable, the protesters in Volgograd have stated. They noted that a lot of young people participated in the rally.

According to organizers, at least a thousand people came to the sanctioned rally.

"Russia is dominated by lawlessness and ordinary people's indifference to it," said Dmitry, a 19-year-old student and a participant of the rally.

Another protester, also Dmitry by name, said that he is a father of two children and jobless. "I came here, because old people have penniless pensions; our education and medicine are at the level of African countries," he said.

There are rumours that the protesters were paid, Sergey, another protester, said in his turn.

According to Alexei Volkov, the coordinator of Alexei Navalny's office, the anti-corruption rally in Volgograd ended without detentions.
