Local man abducted, found dead

The disfigured body of a local resident, Gadayev, was found on the outskirts of Starye Atagi, Grozny district, Chechnya, a few days ago. Locals say Russian security agencies had brought him away about a month and a half ago, according to the Council of Non-Governmental Organisations. Witnesses claim the man's body bore marks of severe torture and abuse. The reason for Gadayev's abduction and extrajudicial execution is unknown.
