Police officer found dead in Grozny, Chechnya
"The body of a local police officer was found in a car at the intersection of 2nd Sadovaya Street and Tbilisskaya Street in Grozny's Leninsky district at 2:50 pm yesterday," a source at the Chechen Internal Affairs Ministry said.
The policeman was shot dead with automatic weapons, according to the source. The criminals took his pistol with eight cartridges and ID. The Ministry does not rule that the murder was committed with the purpose of seizing the gun and documents," Novosti news agency says.
