Azerbaijan opposition parties to sign declaration of unification

With the purpose of joint participation in the Azerbaijan parliamentary elections set for the autumn of 2005, leaders of the Musavat party, the Azerbaijan Popular Front Party (APFP) and the Azerbaijan Democratic Party (ADP) will conduct negotiations within the next few days and sign a joint statement then, APFP deputy chairman Gasan Kerimov said to the Caucasian Knot correspondent. After it, the sides will compile a unified list of candidates for taking part in the parliamentary elections, according to Mr Kerimov. "The participation of these parties in the parliamentary elections as a joint team will be a very important even. And the main thing is that this union can bring great success and will suit the interests of both the opposition and people.
